Mind & Body

Our Mind & Body classes are taught using a variety of methods including Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi,  mat based Pilates and Hypopressive abdominal rehabilitation, which means there are no exercises which cause stress to the neck and back.  The focus is on postural conditioning, muscular toning, joint care & alignment.  All levels of experience and physical condition welcome. Pregnancy and Post Birth classes also available.

Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi

Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi is a gentle, flowing exercise routine with a deeply relaxing and energising combination of rocking movements, expanding arm movements and breathing sequences. As well as being a complete exercise routine it can also be used as a warm up for other types of exercises. This moving meditation is excellent for stressed bodies and suitable for all abilities, ages, and conditions.

Hypopressive Exercise

Restore & Core classes are taught using hypopressive abdominal rehabilitation methods. This safe and effective method is used to de-stress abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, so they look great on the outside, but more importantly give them the tone internally needed to keep the pelvis and spine stable, safe and pain free. This method is ideal for bladder weakness and prolapse. Classes combine low pressure and pilates methods for a full restorative package.

Pregnancy & Postnatal Care
