Service Description
A space for children whom have completed our kids beginners course or personal training to achieve the appropriate safe level of technique in order to participate with the adults. Housekeeping to keep your children safe: 1. You must participate WITH your child. You are your child’s coach in this class and your priority is their safety. 2. If your child can only manage 1 or two rounds, that is ok. I would recommend if that is the case you also stop at that point and praise them for their effort. 3. Make sure they bring water, and a snack in the car for after the session. They will be hungry! 4. You are responsible for your child at all times during the class and we cannot be held responsible for them in loco parentis. 5. Don’t push them too hard, they are growing and we need to help that process happen healthily. *Overtraining children is not healthy.* 6. It’s absolutely imperative that the children use the lightest weights only so that their growth plates are not affected. We know they all want to lift heavy weights and in many cases, they may be strong enough, but safety is utmost and unfortunately, if a child persistently refuses to listen to these rules, they will not be allowed to participate in the class. If you are unsure about the weights your child should use, please speak to the class teacher. 7. Please note, when you bring your children to our classes, this is at your own risk. We do not accept responsibility for your child at any time in our premises. When they are training with you, they are your priority over your own workout. We can be on hand to give tips for exercise safety, but your child remains in your care at all times until they are 18 years old.
